Bedrock is the Minecraft edition on consoles, phones, tablets, and Windows 10 or 11, and these servers are hosted for that client. You join with an address and port, often through a featured server list or by adding the IP yourself, and the world uses Bedrock mechanics: different redstone, different combat, and the skin and marketplace style of that edition. Many hosts also open a Java door through Geyser so both groups share one map, but a Bedrock listing means a console or phone player can get in without buying Java. Expect survival, SMP, and minigames built around that audience. Scroll on for the Bedrock servers players are voting for right now.

Bedrock servers are hosted for the edition on consoles, phones, tablets, and Windows 10 or 11. You add an address and a port, or you find the server in the featured list, and the world uses Bedrock combat, redstone, and skins. A listing in this category should be reachable without buying Java. Many hosts also open a Java door, but the Bedrock address is the one that matters here. Check the port before you travel. A missing port is the usual reason a console join fails.
Only when the host says crossplay is open. Bedrock and Java are different games that sometimes share a world through a bridge. If the page lists a single Bedrock IP and never mentions Java, bring the Bedrock client. If both addresses are printed, either client can try. Skins and a few blocks will still look different across the bridge.
A Bedrock server in Minecraft is a multiplayer server for Bedrock Edition, enabling cross-platform play across PC, mobile, consoles, and more. It runs on the official Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS) software downloadable from Mojang.
Top plugins for Minecraft Bedrock servers (PocketMine-MP) are PurePerms, BedrockEconomy, WorldProtect, MultiWorld, and PureChat. They provide permissions management, economy systems, world protection, multi-world support, and chat customization for enhanced server functionality.
