Sessions are short compared with a factions map. Look at the phase count and whether a rebirth speeds the next run.
Skyblock gives you a small island and asks you to build farms on it. OneBlock gives you a single block that changes as you break it, and the island grows from those drops. You are less free to design a generator and more tied to the phase script. If you want classic cobble gens and a tree, choose skyblock. If you want a checklist of phases, choose OneBlock.
